1920 Gibson K1 Mandocello in excellent condition.
s/n 55929
Gibson's short lived production of the K1 and K2 mandocellos took place during the height of the mandolin orchestra craze of the 1910's and 1920's. This fine example has been restored and repaired by our expert luthier. This is a 100+ year old instrument that shows signs of wear and play, excellent rating is based off off structural integrity (read repairs below) and playability/setup!
Includes Ameritage hard shell case valued at almost $400! The case is originally designed for an OM shaped guitar but fits this instrument very well.
