This dulcimer came to us via a large estate collection of mostly Sam Rizzetta instruments. Rizzetta was an acclaimed dulcimer maker who passed away in 2021.
This instrument has 13/12 courses and measures 27" x 15" x 16" sides. It has an interesting design where 9 of the courses on the 12-side attach on diagonal pin blocks. It appears to have a cedar top, black walnut pin blocks, and cherry bridges. Single small heart soundhole.
2 pairs of hammers are included. No case.
